PeptideOS ("the App") is a scheduling, organizational, tracking, reminder, and calculation tool intended for research workflow management. PeptideOS is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
By using PeptideOS, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

PeptideOS does not sell, rent, or share your Google account information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Everything you enter in PeptideOS is stored on your device. It leaves your device only if you sign in with Google and turn on the optional cloud backup. The App works fully without an account and without cloud backup.
When cloud backup is on, a copy of your app data is uploaded to Firebase Cloud Firestore under your account. This copy includes health-related information you have entered, such as:

It is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling, and it is not sold or shared with third parties.
Backup data is encrypted in transit and is encrypted at rest by Google. Access is restricted by security rules so that only your signed-in account can read or write your backup. The backup is not end-to-end encrypted.
If you never sign in, or you sign in but do not run a backup, none of this data is uploaded.
PeptideOS uses Google Play Billing for premium purchases.
Premium entitlement is verified through Google Play Billing APIs and is not granted solely from cloud backup data.
The App may temporarily store local premium entitlement information on your device to support functionality and restore scenarios.
PeptideOS does not process, receive, or store payment card information directly.
All purchases are processed by Google Play.
Firebase and Google services may automatically generate technical identifiers required for operation of the App and its cloud services.

To help protect the integrity of the App's free trial and prevent repeated trial resets through uninstalling and reinstalling the application, PeptideOS may generate and store a one-way cryptographic hash derived from a device identifier available to the application.
The original device identifier is not transmitted or stored. A one-way cryptographic hash derived from the device identifier may be transmitted to and stored within Firebase services solely for trial integrity and abuse-prevention purposes.

The hashed identifier may be securely stored using Firebase Cloud Firestore and related Firebase services solely to enforce free trial eligibility, maintain trial continuity where applicable, and prevent abuse of the App's licensing system.
If you choose to use optional cloud backup features and sign in to a Google account, trial information may also be associated with your account solely to maintain trial continuity across devices and prevent abuse of the free trial system.
All trial integrity data is transmitted using encrypted connections. PeptideOS does not sell, rent, or share this information with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention after account deletion. When you delete your cloud backup and account (see Section 9), the trial integrity record is kept. It contains only the one-way hashed device identifier, the trial start date, and, if you had signed in, the internal Firebase user ID that the record was linked to. It does not contain your email address, your name, or any health-related or app data. It is kept solely to prevent repeated free trials and to protect the App's licensing system. You can ask us to delete this record by emailing the address in Section 12.

Sensitive entitlement and authentication-related local data are excluded from Android Auto Backup where appropriate.

In the App: open Settings and tap "Delete cloud backup & account". This is available on every plan, including after the free trial has ended. If you are signed out, the App asks you to sign in first so it knows which data to delete.
Confirming the deletion permanently:
Data stored on your phone is not affected. You can remove it separately with "Clear All Data" or by uninstalling the App. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Without the App: if you no longer have the App installed, email utilityforge19@proton.me from the Google account you signed in with and ask us to delete your cloud backup and account. We will complete the request within 30 days.
What is kept: only the trial integrity record described in Section 5.
You may also remove the App's access at any time from your Google account settings.
PeptideOS is intended for adult users and is not directed toward individuals under 18 years of age.
If you are under 18, please do not use the App.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
